Honest answers, plainly given. The rule of thumb: your voice stays on your phone, the text that powers your coaching goes to a trusted AI, and we don't run ads or trackers.
Email us and a real person will get back to you. We read every message.
Larken is a voice-first interview coach for your iPhone or Android phone. You tell it about yourself, the job you're going for, the company, and who's interviewing you. Larken builds a tailored mock interview, you answer out loud or by typing, and it gives you honest, specific coaching and a score after each answer — plus an end-of-round report and a history so you can watch yourself get better.
Nope. No sign-up, no password, no email required. Open the app and start practicing.
The speech-to-text and résumé reading work offline on your phone — but the coaching itself needs internet, because that's generated by the AI. No connection, no live session.
No. Honest, yes — but never cruel. The whole point is an aha moment, not a verdict: specific, encouraging feedback you can actually use.
Your stuff stays yours. By default your history, scores, and résumé live on your device, encrypted — no account needed. You can optionally turn on an encrypted backup (Profile → Backup & sync) so your history survives a new or lost phone; it's stored encrypted, only for you, and you can delete it anytime. The one thing that always leaves your phone is the text of your session, which goes securely to the AI that writes your coaching (more below).

No, and no. When you speak, Larken turns your words into text right on your phone and then throws the audio away. There's no saved recording of your voice — not on your phone, not on a server, not anywhere. The raw audio is never stored and never sent to Apple, Google, or to us.
This is the honest part: to coach you, Larken sends the text of your session — your background, the job/company/interviewer details, and your answers (typed, or spoken-then-transcribed) — over a secure encrypted connection to Anthropic's Claude AI. Claude reads it and writes back your questions, feedback, and score. Anthropic doesn't use API data to train its models by default, and your raw answer text isn't kept in your saved history — only your progress and feedback are.
Open Profile → “Delete all my data.” It permanently removes your saved rounds, background/résumé, first name, photo, and encryption key from your device — in one step — and your encrypted cloud backup, if you turned it on. Uninstalling the app also removes everything on the device.
Fly is the free tier — a real way to try Larken and get genuine coaching. Takeoff is the paid, auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the full experience. The current price is shown in the app at the point of purchase.
Takeoff is billed by your app store, so you manage it in your store account, not inside Larken:
On iPhone:
On Android:
You'll keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. You can also reach this from Profile → Manage subscription in the app.
Tap Profile → Restore purchases. Larken checks the App Store or Google Play for your active subscription and restores your Takeoff access. (Your practice history is stored on each device, so history itself doesn't transfer.)
Subscriptions — that's it. Takeoff is the business. We don't run ads, we don't use trackers, and we don't sell or share your data. We'd rather earn it by making coaching that's actually worth paying for.
